Bobbi Brown Instant Detox Face Mask | Review

Face masks are something that are essential in my skincare routine and will make sure that I use at least one a week. So when Bobbi Brown released new face masks earlier in the year to their skin care range I knew that I had to try them. There are 3 different face masks which each target different skin concerns and have different goals for achieving glowing skin with three different treatments. There are 3 in the range: instant detox, skin nourish and radiance boost. In this post I will be reviewing the instant detox face mask and be telling you how I got on with it.

The instant detox face mask provides a deeper clean when a simple face wash wont do the job. This mask removes impurities, pollutants and ex-cess oil from pores without stripping your skin. It is said to make skin 'instantly look healthier, clearer and more refined' which I can say 100% is true. It has to be one of the best face mask i've ever used in my life and I have tried many face masks over the past few years.

You can use this mask with any type of skin and all you have to do is put a thin layer of the dark clay over damp skin (I usually focus on my t-zone) and leave for 2-5 minutes then wash off with warm water. In my experience it takes longer than 5 minutes to dry but that may be down to me putting it on a little thicker. It goes a light grey colour once it has dried and you are really able to tell that it is clearing out your pours.

It uses a unique blend of Hawaiian Sea Water and mineral-rich Amazonian White Clay which work together to help extract toxins and impurities, all while helping to reduce the appearance of pours. Combined with the detoxifying powers of Sea Salk and Sea Water, the powerful clay-based formula helps to remove pore-clogging debris and excess oil from the skin, while simultaneously nourishing- never over-stripping.

With just one use of this face mask I could already tell that my skin felt softer and was more clearer. When I had the clay on my face it did feel like it went quite warm but it never hurt or stung. It might look like a dark mud colour when it comes out but it smells quite pleasant which meant that I didn't mind putting it onto my face.

It was really good at helping to dry up the little spots that I had on my forehead and as soon as I took the mask off I could already tell that they looked less red.

I can't wait to try the other two masks in the trio because if they are like this one then they will be amazing!

This retails at £33.00 from the Bobbi Brown website | Link
