Review of the year- 2015

Its that time of year again, its time to look back on 2015.

2015 has been a year that has really opened my eyes. It has shown me that things are not always as they seem.It has also taught me that nothing in life is easy. If you want something then you have to work for it. You cannot be spoon fed for the rest of your life, get up, do something and achieve your dreams. If you work hard you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Last year I did a blog post similar to this one which you can read here and I think its going to be nice looking back on that post and i'm hoping to carry these on every year.

This year has had both ups and downs, all of which have made me a stronger person and taught me to be my own person and do what I want to do.

Good things:
  • Moved back in with my mum and we have not argued once (touch wood) and have been getting on really well.
  • I got with Adam in March and he has changed my life for the better.
  • Gained 2 new nieces this year: Mackenzie and Lilah.
  • Took my sister to her first festival.
  • Went to Wales with the family.
  • I got a proper job which has been able to support me while i've been in college.
  • Started my blog properly.
Bad things:
  • Made some bad decisions which will stay with me for the rest of my life.
  • Lost quite a few good friends throughout the year.
  • Suffered with stress a lot because I put people first without thinking of myself a times.
  • My RSD got worse
I have grown up a lot this year. I was living with my dad for 9 months out of this year which meant that I had to be very independent and I was doing my own cooking, cleaning, washing and everything that I needed doing for myself. I don't complain about any of it as it has made me be a more mature person as i've learnt these life skills now while some people my age are still having everything done for them.

College is something that i'm proud of this year. In my course i've got the highest marks in all my assignments so far which means if I keep up with than i'll pass with a D*D*D* which is the highest mark you can get.

This year i've created some memories that are going to stay with me forever, meeting Adam, going to YNOT and underneath the stars festival and the usual memories that you make with your friends on a day to day basis.

I think in 2016 I need to remember to look after myself more. I need to make sure that I get enough sleep, eat a balanced diet and remember that I can't always please everyone so I shouldn't let it stress me out like I know it does. Pleasing everyone is a thing that i've always tried to do since I was younger and at times it isn't a good thing. This happened earlier in the year and because I was trying to please everyone I made a decision which if I was thinking of myself I would have never made. So always make sure that you put yourself first. If you are not happy then you should not be making other people happy. Make yourself happy first before you think of everyone else around you. It will only drag you down.

I hope you all have a really good time welcoming in the new year but remember to stay safe.

Speak to you all next year!
