Blogmas day 24! - How i'm spending my Christmas eve!

I love Christmas eve, it feels so magical and you have that excitement building inside of you waiting for Christmas day. Thankfully i'm not working Christmas eve which is wonderful because I was dreading having to work it as I wasn't used to working Christmas eve and I wanted to spend time with my family.

We go to church with my family every year and have done since I was little and I don't want to stop that now as its something we do as a family. I actually really enjoy going to church on Christmas eve, its the only time we go to church but I think it is such a nice thing to do. Everyone sings and the children take it in turns to take the little figures of the nativity to the front and put them in the stable. There is also a chance to place presents under the stable which are given to children who wouldn't necessarily get presents on Christmas day which is such a sweet idea.

Most years we go to my aunties after we have been to church but i'm not sure if we are doing that this year. We go round there to open presents because we don't see each other on christmas day and its nice that we can thank them right away. The night is filled with laughter and smiles all round.

When I get home me and my two sisters all have matching pj's and reindeer socks which I am so excited about. We'll all sit as a family drinking hot chocolate or mulled wine, watching Christmas films and spending time as a family which we don't get to do very often because we all have really busy lives and Sarah lives in Manchester so we don't see her as much.

The pj's that I have got for us are from primark as I didn't want to spend to much. But they are really nice and not too thick because I hate thick Pj's as I get to hot.

We'll put our stockings out on the end of our beds and this year I get to fill my mums which I am really looking forward to because I can't wait to spoil her. It's the first year which i've been able to spoil her and honesty no one deserves it more than she does.

Family means more to me than anything and I don't know how I would have gotten though these past few years without them. It had made me realise how much they do mean to me and i'll never take them for granted again. Spending time with them means more to me than anything because they are memories that I am going to keep forever.

I hope you all have an amazing Christmas!
