Blogmas day 19! - Mac make up haul and review

Well don't we all love a good haul at mac? I took a trip to Manchester twice at the start of the month and decided to treat myself with some new make up. I picked up quite a few products that i've never had before and I was really looking forward to trying them.I have always loved Mac products so I wasn't worried about wasting money on it because I knew the brand was good.

Prep + prime  transparent finishing powder/pressed

When I first started using this power I didn't really know what to think of it. It was different from what I was used to because I was used to wearing a pressed power that had colour in it. I had been struggling to find the correct foundation that matched my skin tone and when I used this I found out that my foundation was correct it was just the powder that I was using that was changing the colour which was making me not like it. This kept my foundation the same colour and just set it in place. It would last at least 6 hours if not more.It would always make my foundation look really nice and didn't look cakey.
This is £20.50.

Studio fix fluid SPF 15

This is the foundation that I really struggled to colour match. I ended up buying 3 different shades just to find the correct one as my closest mac store is an hour away. When I first started wearing this foundation my shaded was NC25 because I had just come back of holiday. Currently the shade I wear is NW15. I love this foundation as it is really long wearing and gives a really good coverage.
This is £22.00

 Whirl lip pencil
I hadn't really worn a lip pencil before I bought this but I have to say I love it. It gives such a defined shape and really brings out the colour in my lips. The colour that I got was whirl and even though it is a little bit darker than the lipstick I wear it with but I personally think it brings out the colour more.
This is £12.50.

Velvet teddy lipstick
I got this lipstick because the nude colour was beautiful and I could not leave the shop with out it. Its a nude colour so it goes with loads of different outfits and I think it really goes nicely with my skin tone. This lipstick really surprised me because it lasted a really long time even if I was eating or drinking.
This was £15.50.

Amorous Lipstick
Everyone knows a berry lip is wintery so I thought i'd jump on that band wagon and get one for myself and i've LOVED it. This is a beautiful deep purple/red colour and when i'm wearing it I feel all christmassy and festive. The time it lasted really surprised me because I thought as it was a really prominent colour you would be able to tell even if a little bit had rubbed away but it lasted a really long time and didn't rub off as soon as I ate something.
This was £15.50.
