A week in wales- Hafan y Mor Haven Holiday Park

Who doesn't love to go on holiday? This year I had a week in Wales with my family. From the 22nd August to the 29th August I got to leave all the stress behind and relax for a week by the sea. And a lot happened in a week so to make sure my blog posts are not essays long i'm going to split them up a bit into 1 or 2 days together. Lets go from the start.

400 miles, countless tantrums, many ice-creams and an empty bank balance and I think I can say its been a very fun week. It took around 4 1/2 hours to get to Wales and it felt like forever! We stopped half way for ice-cream because there was no way my niece and nephew were going to sit in the car for much longer without complaining.

Once we got there we were staying in this wooden triangle lodge sort of thing. I thought it was wonderful. It was so unique and different than anything I had stayed in before. The interior was beautiful. It was red and cream and how everything was done up it made it look so homely. The living room, dining room and kitchen were all connected then there was also the bathroom and a double room on the ground floor. Upstairs there was 2 rooms both with 2 single beds in them. For 8 of us there was plenty of room and there was no getting caught under each others feet. If you want to take a look at the place I stayed in more detail then click Here and i'm sure you will love it as much as I did.

Once settled we went to a walk to the beach, it was lovely. The waves crashing, the air was warm and it was so relaxing. Obviously to cold to go into the sea but sitting on the beach throwing rocks into the water was really nice. Being on the beach really got me into the holiday mood. My niece who is only 4 loved throwing stones into the sea and jumping over the waves. She was just in her own little world.

On the Sunday we went out to Porthmadog because my brother-in-law needed some new shoes. Of course it started raining and miss clever over here didn't bring a coat with a hood with her. So I got soaked and it resulted in me having to go and buy an umbrella because it was raining that bad.
The best part of the Sunday was going out for tea. It was gorgeous. Chicken with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce, chips and garlic bread. My favourite!
