Migraines

Hey guys! This isn't a normal post i'm doing today its more like a help me I need your advice kind of post.
As you can see from the title it is about migraines. I often suffer from migraines and I am on all sorts of medications to control them. But sometimes my tablets don't even touch the pain. At the moment I'm in the middle of a migraine that's why I decided to post this. I have ran out of my tablets, we have about 11inches of snow outside and its 10pm at night! My neighbour has just kindly given me some paracetamol but I know it isn't even going to touch the pain :(
The other month I had a really bad migraine which made me bed bound for 5/6 days and I couldn't move at all without being in so much pain. Every time I moved my head it felt like so much pressure built up that my head was going to explode. I felt so scared because I hadn't had a migraine that bad before. I spent hours crying because the pain was that bad. My mum took me to her house so she could keep an eye on me because she didn't want me being alone. I became really quite ill, I had a high temp, severe migraine, nausea and generally felt weak. I couldn't see because the pain was that bad so that didn't help at all.  After about 7/8 days I was getting better and started doing things for myself again.

The point i'm making is migraines are not just some headache that go away in half an hour. They can disrupt your day-to-day life.
I know I'm getting a migraines because for the two days before I get it I feel so tired. I am not one to usually nap during the day but in the lead up to a migraine I can sleep for up to two hours and still feel tired and horrible. When I have the migraine it will be on the right side of my head, right where my right temple is and it will be a constant pain. I will have to close my right eye and walk around like that because it hurts so much to open it. Even if I have a small headache I will put my glasses on straight away to try and prevent it from going into a migraine. Sleep always helps when I have a migraine but it isn't always possible if you are in a lot of pain.
My question to you is; do you get migraines? And if yes, how often and how do you cope with them?
