2014

2014....what a year it's been!
I had some of the best times and I've had some of the worst time.

Good things:
  •  Moved in with my dad
  •  Went to my first festival
  •  Realised how important my family are to me
  •  Got rid of the people I don't need in my life
  •  Left school
  •  Became comfortable with who I am
Bad things:
  • Taken up a few bad habits
  • Felt heartbreak for the first thing
  • Lost someone who meant to much to me

I have taken everything that has happened in my stride and realised that it was all a big learning curve. I've learnt how to be myself and not hide away from the truth. It never works out well in the long run. After everything though I think that this year has been one of the best yet, I've learnt so much, met so many amazing people and done the things I loved doing.

I'm am going to take every lesson I've learnt throughout 2014 and take it into 2015 and carry on building up my confidence and making the most of life. You should too!

There are too many young people getting taken from this world too soon! R.I.P You see it on the news nearly every other week. It's made me realise that you can take nothing for granted! Live everyday like its your last. But most importantly if you want to tell someone how you feel, do it. Don't wait that extra day, don't keep putting it off because you are scared, because you never know what can happen and people can be taken away from you in a blink of an eye! Make sure you tell your family and friends you love them, and keep reminding them!

I've created so many memories in 2014; leaving school, prom, going to my first festival, boyfriend and qualified as a gymnastics coach!!! They are memories that I'm going to remember forever! Just take a few moment right now, close your eyes and think about all the amazing memories you've made this year.

One thing I need to do is take my own advice more in the new year! I'm getting better but still sometimes choose to ignore myself and carry on making stupid decisions.

So now it comes to New Years resolutions. I always make New Years resolutions but I never really stick to them because I make them so unrealistic. So maybe this year I make them achievable? maybe we could do them together? If you have any new year resolutions comment them below, I'd love to see your ideas!

My 2015 New Years resolutions:
  •  Eat at least 2/3 meals a day
  •  Not care what anyone thinks of me and become happy for who I am
  •  carry on doing things I want to do...not what society wants me to do

So there so have it, my 3 New Years resolution. I might write another blog post in a couple of months time letting you know how I've done and we can compare to see who has achieved them or stuck by them?

Okay I hope you all have a great time welcoming in the new year! And stay safe! I'll see you all in the new year!
